Grade 4 Travels to the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History

Joe Remillard

They began the visit with a hike along the Wing Trail, stopping at various points to observe habitats, habitat changes, and vegetation.  Unfortunately they couldn’t get to the beachfront because of all of the water pushed into the marsh by the winter storm, Athena.  When they arrived back to the museum they went inside to see the exhibitions.  The favorite was the tide pool tank where a ray could be coaxed to roll over!  The trip was a fun and informative way to apply what we had learned during the ecology unit in science.
