Cape Cod Academy’s Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

Cape Cod Academy promotes and cultivates a climate of mutual respect, inclusion, kindness, and concern for one another. As our mission states, “Cape Cod Academy fosters a life-long drive to learn and grow and make a difference in the world.” This includes valuing the experience and happiness of others as we do our own. Compassion helps us recognize the struggles of others and spurs us to help with humility and respect.

Our school is committed to supporting students, faculty, and staff regarding all issues of equity and opportunity as they relate to race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, learning style, and interests. We, along with many other academic institutions, are taking a thoughtful look at our school to see how we are dealing with the question of race, religion, disabilities, and differences, the diversity of our school population, and the depth of our curriculum. We are fully committed to moving forward to ensure that Cape Cod Academy is a place where students, faculty, and staff of all races, religions, and ethnicities can grow and thrive and that our students will have an education that will prepare them to engage in the world with intelligence, awareness, and equity.

Cape Cod Academy strives to be a school where differences are respected and celebrated. A diverse community is a vital part of our students’ academic and social growth and helps to prepare them to be successful in college, healthy in life, and contributors to society - both locally and globally.
Cape Cod Academy is one of the only independent, co-educational, college preparatory schools serving students from kindergarten to grade 12 on Cape Cod.
